With more than 18 years of experience in commercial construction, Darlene McCarthy brings senior-level expertise to her role as Project Manager at Firmo Construction. Today, she leads ground-up hospitality projects across Florida for major hotel brands, applying her sharp attention to detail and proven leadership to ensure every build is delivered with precision.

Her career highlights include managing large-scale, high-profile projects such as the UC Irvine Stem Cell Research Center, Showtime’s headquarters in West Hollywood, and the $300 million Safe Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento. Recognized for her excellence in project delivery and financial oversight, she has earned accolades including UC Irvine’s Excellence in Project Management Award and AECOM’s Construction Excellence Award.

Darlene is also committed to supporting women in the industry, actively contributing to Women in Construction and Manatee Habitat’s Women Build initiative.
