An Ultra Fast Expansion.
The Firmo Construction team stepped into Ultrafast's plans for expansion to execute its million-dollar improvement as efficiently as possible. The expansion included: adding a second floor of 7,000 square feet to the existing Ultrafast warehouse, doubling its spatial capacity; creating an addition consistent with the building's current appearance; and enhancing the insulation to ensure a temperature-controlled work environment. Firmo's partnership with Ultrafast Systems on its expansion took a total of 5 months and helped mobilize the company for its rapid development within half a year.
Seeking to expand their operations to include 8,000SF of additional industrial production area and an additional 2,000SF of executive office space, this global technology supplier had multiple obstacles to overcome. By utilizing our extensive development and preconstruction expertise, our team guided the Owner through the government approval process and zoning restrictions while executing an environmental site assessment and site analysis. To enable the most efficient process, we developed a conceptual design and construction documents, proposed value engineering solutions, coordinated civil engineering services, and refined the schedule and budget.
Broken Sound Country Club
BOCA RATON, FLORIDA
Innovative Solar Parking Solution.
Insufficient parking was hindering the club's ability to support an increase in size and membership. In a collaborative effort, Firmo constructed a unique solar photovoltaic (PV) panel-powered hydraulic lift parking system. Our team devised modifications that allowed for a 70 percent reduction in cost. This remarkable prototype is an innovative solution for cities and sites with limited space.
A New Location.
Our team's design-build expertise was implemented to accommodate the company's physical expansion to the Sarasota market. Working closely with them to understand the needs of their growing business, we performed design and construction services for this additional location that included retail and office space.
Lime Avenue Warehouse
Housing a light manufacturing facility and storage space, this 30,000SF warehouse required tailored considerations during the initial planning phase. Working closely to understand the Owner's needs, our team designed a custom layout to maximize operational efficiency, within the allotted budget and on schedule.
